![]() If you’d like more information, make sure to check out my Youtube video down below where I explain the Pomodoro Technique in much more detail and give you my top tips and tricks for it as well! Definitely be sure to try it out for yourself during your next productivity work session! It helps me stay on track and actually focus as I know I have a timer looming, and it allows me to see the progress I’ve made after one or more pomodoro sessions. I have been applying the pomodoro technique whenever I need to get deep focused work done on my business and it has helped me immensely. I would actually recommend not doing any more than four pomodoro sessions all at once, as after two hours on any task, your focus tends to wane, and your brain checks out mentally. You can complete up to four pomodoro sessions in a row, but after the two hour mark, take a longer break for 20 minutes. Then, set another timer, and get back to work That could be doing a quick stretch, reading a book, eating a snack, etc. When the timer goes off, take a five minute break, away from electronics. If you actually implement it into your work blocks, you will 10x your productivity for sure.Īll you do is set a timer for 25 minutes, and get to work on a singular task for the bulk of that session. If you are not serious about being productive, this extension may not be for you.The Pomodoro Technique is one of the BEST productivity hacks out there. The owl is constantly flying across your pages, annoying you, and closing your tabs. *** WARNING: This extension is very annoying. You must plan all your breaks in advance with the "Freetime Scheduler." During "Freetime" the owl will not close your tabs. Just set those websites as "Allowed Websites" in the options.Ĭertain sites such as Facebook and Youtube should be set as "Blocked Websites" in the options. On these pages, you will have all the time you need. #Stayfocused vs productivity owl freeOf course work-related websites (and search engine pages) can be given a free pass. If you don't go fast to beat the owl's timer, the owl will close the page's tab for you. This creates a system where you learn to find what you need fast. He allows a certain amount of time to get the info you need, then get out. Instead of just blacklisting certain websites, the productivity owl is present on every page. ![]() The Productivity Owl will eliminate your time wasting habits on the internet. If you set a time for work the owl becomes slightly more strict and doesn't allow removing block sites, and a couple other things

Sharpness is impressively good and resistance to flare is also very good, which is important with such a large front element. It is true to say that fisheye lenses are not designed for lens testing charts and the figures provided are interesting but the lens is probably far better than the results indicate. ![]() ![]() From more normal distances it reverts to looking as we want a fisheye to look. If we could focus that close, the image would no longer look odd. To test this, we would need to see a print from a distance of maybe a few inches. I say apparent because it obeys the laws of optics like any other lens and its world-view is correct. It is, of course, one of the “creative” lenses, where we look for its wacky effects and strange apparent perspective on the world. We have enormous amounts of barrel distortion and that is fully expected in a fisheye. The lens resolution tests were very impressive when we consider the design parameters of the lens. #NIKON FISHEYE LENS PLUS#For the lens testing, focusing was achieved using the screen plus magnification. However, it is entirely feasible to simply set the distances on the lens scale as there is enough DOF to amply cover any errors, especially at medium distances. This is true either through the Canon optical viewfinder or the live view screen. All in all, the package is well put together.įocusing is very difficult as there is so much depth of field that judging the sharpest point by eye is not easy. The focusing ring is smooth, not totally even, having a slight feeling of grittiness in its travel, but it works well, with the action being just light enough. ![]() The lens hood provided is very substantial. The aperture ring is nicely click stopped, the lens markings are printed as opposed to engraved and filled and the small petal lens hood is not fixed but may be removed via its bayonet fitting. #NIKON FISHEYE LENS FULL#This lens is around 167 degrees on APS-C format and 180 degrees on full frame. Fisheyes of the full frame type, as opposed to those showing as a circle, can have various focal lengths, depending on the fine details of the design and the exact diagonal coverage. With a fisheye, with its 180-degree diagonal view, this is no longer true. The Canon crop factor is 1.6x, so normally an 8mm lens would be considered to have a field of view similar to a 12.8mm lens on a “full frame” format. When removing the lens care needs to be taken as it will rotate beyond the point where it may be removed. The lens bayonet fits smoothly onto the camera, with no play when locked in place. The lens is available in Nikon and Canon mount, and was supplied in Canon fit and a Canon EOS 600D camera body was used for this review. The aperture is also fully manual, and once set remains there until changed again. The Kelda 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye lens is chunky, features an enormous, bulbous front element and a metal mount devoid of any electronic contacts. Kelda 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye CS Handling and Features Let's see how this Kelda 8mm f/3.5 Diagonal Fisheye lens challenges our expectations and how it performs. In many ways, the “rules of thumb” that we use to express our ideas of what to expect from a lens fall apart, although the laws of optics remain true. ![]() The Fisheye lens is a speciality and creative tool unsurpassed in various ways that we hope to explore in this review. ![]() ![]() ![]() For orders from Toronto and certain locations covered by our in-house courier, tracking is not available but our driver will contact you before arrival.INGREDIENTS: Water (Aqua) (Eau), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum) (Huile minérale), Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Petrolatum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, VP/VA Copolymer, Lanolin Wax (Lanolin Cera) (Cire De Lanoline), Biotin, Tocopherol, Retinyl Palmitate, Calcium Pantothenate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Bulnesia Sarmientoi Wood Oil, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil, Linoleic Acid, Alcohol Denat., Inositol, Behenyl Alcohol, PEG-35 Castor Oil, Polysorbate 20, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Citral Once your order is shipped, we will provide the tracking information for you to track it right to your door. With Mergia at the helm of a jazz trio moving as a crackling, telepathic entity, Lalu Belu astonishes not by being a nostalgia trip but by sounding triumphantly in the present. On it, Mergia still sounds spry and roving on piano, accordion, and synthesizer, his melodic sense as acute and mesmerizing as ever. Discovery of an old tape in Bahir Dar, a tourist hotspot in northern Ethiopia, in 2013 ignited Mergia’s dormant career in the West, capped by Lala Belu, his first new album in decades. Take keyboardist/composer Hailu Mergia, a star in his native Ethiopia in the ’70s who moved to Washington, D.C. But the MP3 blog-turned-label Awesome Tapes From Africa bucked that trend, diligently digging through physical artifacts to discover true gems. Reissues of obscure albums ran rampant this decade, thanks in part to labels following the YouTube algorithms that guided listeners to styles they may have otherwise never found. ![]() This is the latest, greatest Iceage: a bit more romantic but as fiercely droll as ever. Over drunken drums that lead the rest of the band along by a rope, he snarls into the mic, grappling with the very public line of work that’s made him a minor heartthrob among the indie set. The permanently anguished Rønnenfelt offers up a clear example of his dark philosophy in the cabaret stunner “Showtime,” narrating the onstage suicide of a handsome young singer. ![]() Beyondless, the quartet’s most recent LP, saw them once again expanding their sound in service of their ever-growing ambition, this time incorporating manic violins, honky-tonk pianos, and, for the first time, a guest vocalist in Sky Ferreira. He was only 18 at the top of the decade, when he and his childhood friends were dubbed the Next Great Punk Band, and across four albums and countless shows, they put in the work needed to uphold the claim. With limbs flailing and sweat matting his hair, Iceage frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt grew up before our eyes. “All you had to do was listen,” she said. Legend has it, she hung up on the first interviewer she spoke to about the record-the question was about Shelton’s new partner, Gwen Stefani-and decided that she would do no press surrounding the album, letting the music speak for itself. For Lambert, redemption comes from buying a cheap pair of plastic sunglasses, by spending late nights alone at the bar, in knowing that she alone controls her destiny. Its songs are torch ballads and highway anthems with a live band that feels borne of late night jam sessions, raw and unglamorous. The wistfulness is often self-referential, as on “Snowed In at Wheeler Street,” a tale of star-crossed lovers with lyrics threaded with references to her old songs. The material is more wistful: Where Bush’s best singles have often been about having something beautiful that you’re about to lose, much of 50 Words for Snow addresses things that are already lost. 50 Words for Snow, named for the myth that the Inuit have such a vocabulary, boasts all of her trademark magical realism, fantastical lovers, and far-flung settings, but the songs are more quietly ambitious than past works-almost like chamber pieces.
